Over a period of either 3 or 6 months, we’ll offer clarity and learnings to help get you where you want to go. We’ll be the cheerleader who believes you can grow and become the voice you want to be, the guide who teaches you new tools and helps you experiment, the thought partner in your creative sandbox who passes you the shovel.

1. I want a public voice. But wait–what does It mean to have a “public voice”?

Having a public voice means building a tangible presence through your writing and speaking. It means using your words to effect change. Expressing an authentic public voice means walking your talk—not just in your TEDx-like presentation but in any blog post, personal essay, book, tweet, e-blast, or web page. Having a public voice, and expressing it fully, means stepping out onto a platform, speaking your truth, and being the change. Out loud.

2. Who, exactly, does Girl Meets Voice best serve?


You are passionate. You might be tentative in your confidence but you’re fierce as a mother lion in your commitment. You’re in pain or in stasis–because, quite frankly, you’re STUCK. And stuck is a hard place to be when your an ideas person searching for impact.

Maybe you feel stalled in previous efforts at building a public presence through your writing and speaking. Or maybe you’ve been frustrated by past coaches or outsourced experts who see “public voice” as a formula.

For those who come for coaching, we’ll start by asking some big questions–what’s of value to you? What do you believe in? What impact do you wish to have on others? What gets in the way? Where do you want to be 3, or 6, months from now?
You may well be overwhelmed by vast range of possibilities for building a platform these days. So first and foremost, you have our permission not to be everywhere–or at least not everywhere at once. We believe in the power of multipurposing and the peril of multitasking. We’re here to help you be in conscious choice about how you build (or continue to build) your presence.
